Black cohosh has estrogen effects, pregnant or lactating women should avoid using the herb. High-dose black cohosh cause symptoms of poisoning, the more obvious are nausea and dizziness, can also cause miscarriage. Black cohosh should not be used in patients with severe rubella or dyspnea.
